Welcome to Ultimate Tradewars! We here at UltimateTW.com have worked
diligently to provide a brand new dedicated and high speed server
for your Ultimate Tradewars Experience. There are very important
rules now posted for all games, and we urge you to read them, and

As all regular players know we have experienced some lag issues and some unexpected crashes.. I have been able to isolate the crash issues after much help from many sources including John Pritchett and other members of the EIS team, other Sysops & veteran players. The crashes have ceased since November 22, 2005 leading me to believe that the corrections done at that time have been effective. The secondary lag issue still has not been fully resolved to my satisafaction therefor in order to effect a balance between those who want speed and those who want aliens. I have tested what appears to be an efective fix. I will be turning the alien manager on during non peak hours. this will have the effect of reducing or elliminating the lag while still allowing alien interaction. Comments (0) |
We have had a serious server outage for most of the day. I have (along with U.N. Owen) taken a variety of steps to correct the issue including uninstalling TWGS and reinstalling it. During this outage connecting to the server was sporadic at best. Some people had no issue connecting others could not connect at all. It appears to be fine now however since I was unable to acsertain it's cause I cannot with certainty be sure the steps taken have fixed it. If any Sysops are here and have a solution or suggestion let me know. Sage Comments (680) |
